There was a time when the people did not have an alternative to attain the degree if they somehow could not attend the college but definitely things have changed over the past few decades in the country. One has to produce the basic requirement educational certificates in order to take the admission in the respective courses. IGNOU and Annamalai are the leaders in the area of distance education. Both these universities have maximum enrolments.
